Quick Setup

Quick Setup 

Quick Setup offers an efficient way to configure your Alpha Repricer account. You may follow these four steps to set it up quickly:

Step 1: Channel Setup

View or Create a Channel Account

  • Create a New Account: Click the Create Another button to add a new channel account.

  • View Existing Account: Click the View button to check your existing channel account.

Create a Channel Account

  1. Click the Add button.
  2. Select the Marketplaceyou want to authorize with your Amazon Seller Central account.
  3. Log in to Amazon Seller Central:
    • Click Authorize to link your account.
    • Enter your Amazon credentials (email/phone number and password).
    • Provide the One-Time Password (OTP) from your Authenticator App and check the box “Don’t require OTP on this browser” before clicking Sign In.
    • Agree to the terms (look for a checkbox saying, “I direct Amazon to provide Alpha Repricer…”) and click Confirm to proceed.
    • You’ll be redirected to the (Almost done…) page.

Provide Important Information

  • Enter your Amazon Store Name, your store’s name on Amazon
  • Channel Account Name, any name you choose to distinguish it from other channels. It can be the same as your Amazon Store Name.
  • Optional settings:
    • Import Min/Max Prices from Amazon: Check the provided box if you want to import these values.
    • Override Min/Max Prices: If importing, check the override box to replace existing values in Alpha Repricer.
    • Include B2B Listings: Check this box to include B2B listings (requires at least a Gold subscription).

Set Repricing Profile

  • Select an existing repricing profile (optional). If selected, this profile will automatically apply to any new inventory imported from Amazon. This default profile will not affect items already in the system.
  • This step can be skipped for now and completed later, as a repricing profile is required to reprice any item.

Save the Information

  • Once all details are entered, click the Save button to create your channel account successfully.

Step 2: Repricing Profile Setup

View or Create a Repricing Profile
  • Create a New Profile: Click the Create Another button to setup a new profile.
  • View Existing Profile: Click the View button to check available profiles.

Create a Repricing Profile

  1. Enter the Profile Name and a brief Description.
  2. Select the Repricing Profile Type:
    • Price Competition: Adjusts your prices to compete with other sellers.
    • Featured Offer Competition: Sets prices to help you win the Featured Offer.
    • Dynamic Repricing: Changes prices automatically based on market updates.
    • Scheduler: Stops and starts repricing at a specific time. 
    • Min/Max: Keeps prices within your set minimum and maximum limits.
  3. Configure the profile settings as needed and click Save & Close.

Step 3: Setting Min/Max Prices

Setting Min/Max Prices is essential for effective repricing. It defines the price range within which your products will be repriced, keeping them competitive while maintaining profitability.

Methods to Set Min/Max Prices

1. On-Screen:

    • Use the Min/Max columns on the listing screen to directly set prices.
    • Adjust currency according to your region.

2. Download/Upload:

    • Download: Export the inventory report and enter Min/Max prices in the downloaded file.
    • Upload: Go to the file upload section in the browser, select the updated file, and upload it. Make sure all mandatory fields are filled to ensure a successful upload.

3. Using Formula:

    • Create Formula: Click Add to create a formula using one of the following options:
      1. ROI (Return on Investment): Sets prices based on a specific profit percentage over costs.
      2. Profit Margin: Determines prices by a fixed amount of profit added to costs.
      3. Fixed Profit: Sets a constant value of profit for your products, such as adding $5 to the total cost of every item
      4. Custom: Allows you to create personalized pricing formulas using various options.
    • Apply Formula:
      1. Select the desired formula from the dropdown menu.
      2. Click Calculate to generate Min/Max prices based on the formula.

Press Apply to save and finalize the prices.

Step 4: Attach Profile

If you have set Min and Max prices for your items with quantity, attaching a profile will immediately start the repricing. So, if you do not want repricing to start when you attach a profile, please disable repricing.

How to Attach a Repricing Profile

  1. Click the Attach Profile button on the Listing screen repricing page.
  2. Select the items or pages you want to apply the profile to:
    • Selected items only
    • Current page
    • All search results
  3. Search for the desired repricing profile and select it.
  4. The repricing profile will be successfully attached to the chosen items or pages.
