Minimum and Maximum Prices

Minimum and Maximum Prices define the price range of your products. This ensures your prices stay competitive while maintaining profitability and meeting your business goals. You can set Alpha Repricer to automatically adjust your products to their maximum prices when competitors are out of stock, maximizing profits in low-competition situations. Be sure to include shipping costs in your Minimum and Maximum prices to calculate the Total Minimum and Total Maximum Prices.

Ways to Set Minimum and Maximum Prices

You can set Min/Max prices in six ways:

  1. On-screen: Enter the values directly from the listing screen.

  2. Upload method: Download your inventory file, update the Min/Max prices, and upload it back.

  3. Bulk edit tool: Provided in the Listing screen.

  4. Formula method: Create and apply a formula to calculate prices automatically.

  5. FTP: For users who frequently upload Min/Max prices.

  6. Import: To bring your Min/Max prices from Amazon.

1.Setting Min/Max by Using the On-Screen Method

Note:
The On-Screen Method lets you set Min/Max prices directly from the listing screen. This method is useful for small inventories. Sellers with large inventories may find it cumbersome and prefer other methods. For large inventories, you can search for specific items and add Min/Max prices on the screen.

You can easily adjust prices by filling in the Min/Max columns visible on the screen. The tool supports setting prices in your local currency to align with your country’s requirements.

2. Setting Min/Max by Using the Upload Method

Note:
The Upload Method lets you set Min/Max prices for multiple products at once using an inventory file.

It’s best to use when you already have Min/Max prices from another tool such as inventory management software.

  • Download the inventory file and update the Min/Max prices in it.

  • Go to the upload section, click the file upload browser, and select your updated file to upload.

  • Ensure the file meets requirements, such as correct format and all mandatory fields included in the upload option. You can download our template and use it to add your data.

  • After uploading, the system processes the data and updates the Min/Max prices automatically.

3.Setting Min/Max From the Listing Screen

From the Listings screen, click on the Min/Max button. A pop-up will open allowing you to:

  • Choose where to apply the formula (Selected Items, Current Page, or All Pages/Search Results).

    • Margin: Calculates prices to maintain a specific profit margin.

    • Fixed: Sets a fixed value for your Min/Max prices.

    • Custom: The Custom option in Alpha Repricer enables you to create personalized formulas for setting Min/Max prices. This feature combines macros and operators, allowing you to design precise and dynamic pricing strategies that align with your goals.

1. Macros:

Macros are predefined variables representing essential pricing components used in your formula. The following macros are supported by Alpha Repricer in Custom Min/Max type such as item price, item shipping, Amazon fees, acquisition cost, Amazon fixed fee, Amazon variable fee, shipping cost, currency rate, and more.

2. Operators/Functions:

Operators/Functions are the mathematical tools used to perform calculations within your formula. These include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, applying percentages, using brackets, round-off, floor, ceil, and currency rate. They allow you to create advanced formulas for accurate pricing adjustments.

  • Give your formula a name and click Save. You are ready to apply the formula to your inventory.
